The Work consists of on-call furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment for containment and clean-up of spills involving oil, chemicals, sewage, or other hazardous and/or flammable substances; abatement of asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing paint, PCB-containing materials, or materials with other hazardous components; removal and legal disposal of contaminated soil; performance of emergency utility repair work in a hazardous environment; and other related field services at the specified facilities for the contract period. The Work is dependent on emergency events and the exact cost cannot be precisely estimated, though it is expected to be approximately $150,000 per year based on past experience.
