Renovation of an office development in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,238-square-foot, two-story above grade office development.
Cost Range: $900,000 to $950,000 Project scope includes a complete finishes upgrade of the third floor of the Wade Hampton Building. The upgrades involve new carpeting and resilient flooring, wall paint, trim paint, ceiling tiles, and lighting fixtures. Minor reconfiguration will divide two open office areas into private offices and storage, and add a break room area in a former cubicle area. The work also includes hazardous materials abatement. Bid security is required in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Bidders must obtain bidding documents/plans from the sources listed to be considered official plan holders. Reliance on copies obtained from other sources is at the bidder's own risk. All written communications with official plan holders and bidders will be via email or website posting. The agency will not accept bids sent via email.
