Elevator Modernization - New Jersey State Library Project No: A1362-00 Elevator Modernization at the New Jersey State Library, 185 West State Street, Trenton, Mercer County, NJ. Only bids submitted by contractors who attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be accepted. All bidders must be classified with DPMC in one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) or General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009) for a single bid (lump sum all trades). The bidder itself must be classified in or name subcontractors for the following trades: Electrical (C047) and Elevators (C099). Failure to list all required DPMC Classified subcontractors will render the bid non-responsive. Bid Proposals will be received electronically only via the Bid Express service. No paper bids will be accepted. Hard copies of bid documents are available for examination by appointment only at the DPMC Plan Room. Bidders must submit bid security as provided in the Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions. The State may reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. Compliance with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-7.2 is required. The minority percentage goal requirement is 30% per skilled craft, and the female percentage goal requirement is 6.9% per skilled craft.
