Clarification Deadline 9/25/2025 11:59 PM OVERVIEW To encourage the re-imagination of The Glenbrook Community Center, the City of Stamford is offering an opportunity convert a historic City-owned structure to a mixed-use building with an emphasis on community activation. The property, 35 Crescent Street, is located in the heart of the Glenbrook neighborhood in Stamford and is less than 300' from the Glenbrook station on the New Canaan line of Metro North. The City is seeking an experienced applicant through this Request for Proposals (RFP) and will enter into exclusive negotiations with the selected applicant. CONDITION In January 2025, the building experienced a burst pipe which caused significant water damage to the building. The City has completed the restoration and remediation and are awaiting final decisions on building use and grant decisions to complete any further renovations.
