Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Throop, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves Civic Center Park Improvements at 820 Sanderson Street, Throop Borough, Lackawanna County. The work includes installation of a 30' x 45' pavilion, new play equipment, playground mulch, rubber curbing, and a concrete walkway. Additional work consists of site grading, landscaping, milling and repaving of the existing parking area, and parking lot striping. Play equipment, pavilion, benches, and rubber curbing will be purchased by the Borough. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract on a lump sum basis. Bid security must be provided as specified. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements apply. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment practices. Throop Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.
