Aeration Basin and Dual Media Filters Influent Piping Rehabilitation Bid submission info : Bids will be publicly opened, examined, and declared on said day and hour, and will be referred to the Commission of the Authority for subsequent action. Failure to attend this mandatory prebid conference will make any bid submitted by Bidder unresponsive and will be rejected. The Bidder will be required to comply with Specification Section 00 45 13, CERTIFICATION OF BIDDER'S EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS. The Bidder's designated Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) Subcontractor will be required to comply with Specification Section 00 45 14, CERTIFICATION OF BIDDER'S CARBON FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER SUBCONTRACTOR'S EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS and attend the mandatory prebid conference. Failure of the Bidder's designated CFRP Subcontractor to attend shall make a Bidder's bid unresponsive. Under California Laws and Regulations, the Authority shall inform all prime contractors of public works, to the extent feasible, of relevant public work requirements. Therefore, SVCW hereby advises all bidders that the successful bidder shall: 1. Employ the appropriate number of apprentices on the job site as set forth in California Labor Code 1777.5; 2. Provide workers' compensation coverage, as set forth in California Labor Code AB and DMF Influent Piping Rehabilitation (CIP #9600)
