In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation and grading, riser outlet, along with tile and outlet structures, riprap placement, and seeding. This project includes around 24,926 cubic yards of earthwork, 368 linear feet of various tile installation, a concrete and a nyloplast structures, 310 tons of riprap along with 25 cubic yards of grout and 6.6 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $250,000 to $350,000. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing.
