Oskaloosa Community School District 2026 Building Envelope Improvements Project Bidders will be required to provide a security deposit in the form of an approved Bid Bond, of five percent (5%) of the base bid, including alternates, in a separate attached envelope. Bid security shall be made payable to the Treasurer of the Oskaloosa Community School District. Performance Bond and Labor, Material and Payment Bond will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date and hour set for receiving bids. The anticipated construction schedule is between May 23, 2026 - August 23, 2026 A request for substitution will only be considered if submitted by abbidding contractor who was present at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Whenever a particular make of material or trade name is specified herein it shall be regarded as being indicative of the standard required. Any request for substitution must be delivered to the owner's representative by 3:00 P.M. on November 4th 2025. Any approved substitutions for materials will be reviewed and approved by the "Owner". Any approved substitutions for materials shall be via addenda only
