Site work and paving for a road / highway in Santa Clarita, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
This project will upgrade the existing traffic signal equipment on Lyons Avenue and Avenida Rotella/Peachland Avenue by installing underground conduit, wiring, signal housings and pull boxes. All work will be completed per the provided plans, specifications, and bid documents. Instructions to bidders include that certified payroll, insurance, a license, and prevailing wage are required. Bid bonding requirements consist of a 10% bid bond and a 100% labor and materials bond. Bids are to be submitted electronically. Question Acceptance Deadline 10/16/2025 11:00 PM EDT COPE OF WORK The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the plans, specifications, and contract documents. The general scope of work to be performed includes, but not limited to, modification of traffic signal controls, installation of traffic signal equipment, and concrete work. CONTRACTOR shall provide safe and adequate pedestrian access at all times. Traffic control around construction site shall be provided and maintained at all times by the CONTRACTOR to ensure safety and public access to businesses and residents at all times throughout the limits of construction.
