The objective of this project is to rehabilitate the two (2) existing concrete UV channels within the RWTP, where cement has eroded and resulted in the exposure of aggregates. The scope includes applying a leveling compound to restore the channels to original construction profile, followed by the application of a protective lining system to prevent future degradation of the UV channel concrete surface. This rehabilitation will create a durable, sealed surface resistant to chemicals and UV light, allowing the isolation gates to function effectively and restoring operational flexibility. The Scope of Work includes (but is not limited to): 1. Coordination: Coordinate with DSRSD staff to schedule all on-site work within the planned RWTP outage window(s). DSRSD staff will perform the system shutdowns and outages; Contractor will ensure schedule complies with these windows. 2. Detailed Project Schedule: At a minimum, the project schedule shall 1) specify all tasks and subtasks, their durations, and dependencies required to complete the project within the outage windows; 2) identify tasks and responsibilities for both the Contractor and DSRSD staff; and 3) include a mandatory pre-shutdown walk-through to be scheduled at least two (2) working days prior to the planned system outage.
