Site work and paving for a road / highway in Quincy, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The project consists of approximately 5,602 tons of asphalt pavement, 9,896 square yards of base, and 352 linear feet of drainage pipe (side and cross drains), with 106 mitered end sections. The specifications of the procurement are stated in ITB# 26-03. Sealed proposals should be submitted to the Gadsden County Purchasing Office. Proposals received after the stated deadline will be returned unopened. Gadsden County reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; re-bid a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a proposal that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. The county also reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as may be required at the unit price which was bid. Bidders must not be on the convicted Respondent list as outlined in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes. MBE/WBE businesses are encouraged to participate. Gadsden County strictly enforces open and fair competition. Completion-_150_ days Questions Due from Prospective Proposers October 21, 2025 @ 3:00 PM - All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Responses to Questions Due October 28, 2025 @ 3:00 PM
