The project consists of approximately 4,031 tons of asphalt pavement, 6,671 square yards of base, and 50 mitered end sections. Specifications of the procurement are stated in ITB# 26-02. Sealed proposals will be received at the Gadsden County Purchasing Office until the specified deadline. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held as scheduled. The ITB# 26-02 and any addendum issued will be available on the County's website or through the County's Procurement Office. A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted Respondent list cannot submit a bid or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity for 36 months from the date of being placed on the list. The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, re-bid a project in whole or in part, or accept a proposal that is judged to be the lowest and best bid. The County may also increase or decrease quantities as required at the unit price which was bid. Gadsden County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, marital status, or disability/handicapped status in employment or provision of service.
