Demolition, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in The Dalles, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade laboratory facility.

The work includes the conversion of a classroom in the Skills Center into a lab for additive manufacturing on the Columbia Gorge Community College Campus. The renovation will include demolition of existing walls and finishes and the new construction of open lab space and material storage room. The material storage room has special construction requirements due to potential ignition of metal powders stored and handled in the space. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished to the bidders. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly marked with the project name and show the name and business address of the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional cashier's check, certified check or surety bond of the bidder in the amount of ten percent (10%). Unsuccessful bidders will have their security refunded when the contract has been awarded. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered unless the bidder is licensed by the Construction Contractors Board of the State of Oregon. Each bid must identify whether the bidder is an Oregon resident bidder. Bidders are directed to comply with submission requirements for the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form if the contract amount exceeds $100,000. Failure to provide the form may result in bid rejection. The College reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty days. All bids and all prices quoted shall be firm for a period of thirty days after the bid closing date. Project start date November 6, 2025.
