Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: Thirty (30) days after completion of project. Repair, replace, prep, prime and paint the exterior of the house, gazebo and shed. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Stain/Paint will be a Sherwin Williams product and the colors will be the same as the existing. Repairs up to 100 linear feet of rake and/or fascia trim and 2 sheets of T-111 siding are included in this contract. Work is to be completed within 90 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of this exterior repair and paint job, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the point of contact. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove and replace damaged or rotted siding and trim 2. Repair any damaged stucco 3. Resecure siding, rake trim and fascia that is loose / nails have pulled through 4. Resecure soffit unless rotted or broken, then replace 5. Wash - prep for new paint 6. Caulk gaps and penetrations in the siding assembly with Formula 230 paintable caulking 7. Prime any new or discolored material with stain sealing primer 8. Paint the entire exterior of the house, gazebo and shed with one coat of paint, two or more if needed. Thin or discolored areas will need to be recoated.
