Renovation of an educational facility in Spencer, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Sealed bids are requested for waterproofing at OKCPS Rogers Middle School, located at 4000 Spencer Road, Spencer, OK, 73084. Bidders must submit their proposals to 7725 West Reno, Suite 400, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. Complete sets of the bidding documents, including qualifications, conditions, specifications, and construction plans, are available at the Construction Manager's office, L5 Construction, LLC, and can be obtained from the Planroom or by contacting Zac Head with L5 Construction, LLC. If the bid exceeds $50,000, a certified check or surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the sealed bid, designating Oklahoma City Public Schools and L5 Construction as dual obligees. Bid securities for all but the three lowest bidders will be returned after the bid opening, while the three lowest will be retained as provided in the instructions. Bids received more than ninety-six hours, excluding weekends and holidays, before the opening time or after the bid opening time, will not be considered. The Owner/Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities or minor irregularities. Question Deadline 10/17/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Includes, but not limited to, providing all the necessary labor, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, insurance, equipment, scaffolding, hoisting, fees, etc. necessary to provide the Scope Package - Site Utilities, in accordance with the Contract Documents. It is further understood and agreed that this Subcontract also includes the furnishing and installation of the below listed items regardless of whether or not they are in the listed specification section(s) or any other specification section(s), or shown on the plans. This scope listing is to be used as a guideline and should not be considered as an all-inclusive list of items required to provide a complete scope of work under this proposal. Drawing and detail references are provided for reference only and are not to be considered as all-inclusive of Contract Documents for the particular items referenced. (Please note: The word "provide" when used herein shall mean furnish and install completely, including all costs for labor, materials, equipment, hoisting, layout, scaffolding, ladders, staging, tools, rigging and any other appurtenances necessary to complete the work".) Subcontractor has familiarized itself with the documents and has included those items of work shown and noted on the documents and all other equipment, devices and components that are not shown or noted, but required to provide a complete, functional and working system that is in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Codes. 1. Provide labor, materials, and equipment required for all utility demo/modification and installation, including but not limited to excavation, installation, bonds, inspections, backfilling, compaction, finish grading, and haul off of spoils. Specifically includes but not limited to providing own water for subcontractor's work. A. Included in this bid package scope is the provision of construction staking for scope of work completed by subcontractor. i. Subcontractors can select a surveying company of their own choosing for construction staking - physical stakes are required. 2. Provide a complete storm drainage system as per Contract Documents including but not limited to all piping, plugs, inlets, manholes, tie-ins to existing systems, trench drains with grates, fittings, RCP, PVC, manholes, headwalls, sloped wall, junction boxes (with concrete ring), area inlets (with concrete ring), landscaping inlets (with concrete ring), trickle channels, flumes/outlet structure, emergency overflow, rip rap w/ filter fabric, and other elements. All structures to be complete including chairs, rebar, forms, concrete, and other elements. A. All necessary bonds and fees to be included. B. Following modification or installation of any new storm inlets + outlets, it is the responsibility of this subcontractor to install and maintain the appropriate SWPPP protection. 3. Rebuild and adjust all existing storm structures as indicated on the Contract Documents. 4. All exposed boxes, manholes, trench drains, and other exposed work shall be set at the proper elevation to not create ponding or unacceptable elevation increases in surrounding landscaping/paving. Acceptability shall be at the discretion of the CM. 5. Subcontractor is responsible for relocating all utilities as indicated in the Construction Documents. 6. Subcontractor shall take extreme care to locate existing utilities and hydrovac as necessary. All necessary hydrovac costs are included. Subcontractor shall make all repairs or pay for all repairs if any damage is done to existing utilities by the work of this Subcontractor. 7. Make all required connections to existing utilities as per Contract Documents and local building codes. A. Specifically includes bedding/backfill materials. Subgrade/backfill to be recompacted and tested in lifts. 8. Provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for excavation (including rock), tracing wire, marking tape, backfill, compaction, and bedding. If excess materials cannot be utilized on other parts of the site, Subcontractor shall remove the excess materials from the site at their expense after confirming with CM. A. Compaction is to be completed according to geotechnical reports in 8" loose lifts and with the appropriate testing. 9. Provide all pumping of water in Subcontractor's excavations. All excavations shall be done in accordance with OSHA regulations. A. Trench protection and other required items by subcontractor. 10. Provide all testing, sterilization, and inspection of installed utility lines as required for acceptance by Authority Having Jurisdiction. 11. Provide all applicable permits, inspections, and related fees associated with Subcontractor's work. Subcontractor agrees to schedule additional inspections as necessary to maintain progress as determined by CM. 12. Provide cleaning of all adjacent surfaces including but not limited to all flyaway, extra materials, trash, and debris left from the work of the Subcontractor. 13. Provide all necessary dust control necessary for the work of this Subcontractor. 14. Provide all required barricades, traffic control, benching, and other safety measures as established by local safety codes and OSHA requirements necessary to accomplish the work of this Subcontract. 15. Provide all engineering, layout, and construction staking required to perform the work of this Subcontract. L5 Construction will provide building control lines and elevation benchmarks for the Subcontractor's use in laying out its work. All subsequent layout will be the responsibility of the Subcontractor. 16. Provide all mobilizations necessary for completion of scope. 17. Provide all equipment as required for use during the work, including but not limited to, all hoisting, handling, and removal equipment. Subcontractor will furnish workmen, including a flag man, as required for completion of all the work within this Subcontract scope of work. 18. Compliance with regulations and requirements of the owner and all authorities having jurisdiction over the project. 19. Repair or replacement of temporary protection and erosion/sedimentation control devices (installed by others) that are removed or damaged by the Subcontractor. 20. Work area to be picked up and cleaned daily, at minimum. Dust control materials and implementation related to the work of this Subcontract are included.
