**As of November 19, 2025 , This project has been awarded to Barriere Construction Co., LLC - $5,101,614.13..** PROJECT NAME: Roddy Road Widening: US 61 to LA 935- Phase I. PROJECT NO.: ROAD170017. STATEMENT OF WORK: Roadway widening, bridge removal, and new bridge construction. DESCRIPTION: Move Ascension Program. ROUTE: Roddy Road from Preston Landry Road to LA 935 (Phase I). PARISH: Ascension Parish. Constructing a road widening project on Roddy Road from Preston Landry Road to just north of LA 935. The project will consist of a bridge removal and bridge construction at Bayou Narcisse. -Minor road widening on Roddy Road as well as bridge removal and bridge construction at Bayou Narcisse. The type of construction will include earthwork, grading, base course, drainage, asphalt concrete pavement, concrete slab span bridge. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly labeled with the project name, project number, and Louisiana Contractors License Number, along with all required documents and funds. Official Bid Documents are available and electronic bids are accepted at Central Bidding. Bid packages may be submitted by hand-delivery or uploaded to centralauctionhouse.com. Electronic bids require a copy of the bid bond attached to the electronic documents and the original bid bond document delivered to the office within 48 hours after the bid opening. The bid bond envelope must be clearly labeled as a Bid Bond with the project name, vendor's name, and vendor's address. All addenda, amendments, letters of clarification, and withdrawal notices will be posted online at centralauctionhouse.com. All registered users will have the ability to submit questions, view project information, and view project drawings. Questions must be submitted to the Purchasing Department by the identified deadline. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each Bid and shall be made payable to Ascension Parish Government. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Q/A :- All questions regarding this project and the bid packages shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 4:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Responses will be coordinated with the Project Engineer and posted on the www.centralauctionhouse.com website by 4:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Questions received following the deadline may not be answered. Completion- 365 calendar days
