Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Morehead City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Work in the project generally includes the removal and replacement of the existing pier, groins, and bulkhead, and installation of concrete sidewalk & parking space, and installation of a 8' wide marsh sill at the 10th Street boat ramp. Base Bid work is generally described below. 1.2 General Construction Contract Base Bid: o Construction of an approximately 85' x 8' wide granite sill. o Replacement of existing timber bulkhead with a new vinyl bulkhead. o Replacement of two (2) timber groins with new vinyl groins. o Installation of 5' wide sidewalk and handicap parking space o Replacement of an approximately 5' wide x 211' pier and bulkhead. o Installation of deck lights and associated wiring. Work included: Demolition and removal of existing timber groins, bulkhead, and a portion of the boat ramp. Construction of an approximately 85' x 8' wide granite sill, new vinyl bulkhead, (2) new vinyl groins, 5' x 21" pier and bulkhead, and installation of a 5' wide sidewalk and handicap parking space.
