Carteret County Health Department Interior Painting Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals to make repairs and paint interior areas within the Health Department facility located at 3820 Bridges Street, Morehead City, NC 28557. Work includes: Preparation, Painting, Schedule, Cleaning and Miscellaneous All inquiries concerning the Scope of Services, Proposal Submission Requirements, and Site Visits should be directed to: Mr. Ray Farnum Project Coordinator 5231 Business Drive, Newport, NC 28570 Email: Ray.farnum@carteretcountync.gov Telephone: 252-241-6913 The Contractor shall commence work to be under this Contract on an agreed upon project schedule between the County and Contractor, to be specified in written order from the County and or shall fully complete all work hereunder no later than March 29, 2026. For each day in excess of the above date, the Contractor shall pay the Owner the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) as liquidated damages reasonably estimated in advance to cover the losses to be incurred by the Owner should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within the time specified. In accordance with G.S. 44A-26, the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, executed by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of North Carolina and acceptable to the Owner.
