Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals to replace exterior door and frame systems at the Leon Mann Jr. Enrichment Center. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the turn-key completion of the project. All door systems, including slabs, frames, hardware, and accessories, shall be fully removed and replaced with fire-rated, UL-rated assemblies installed according to building codes, fire codes, ADA requirements, and manufacturer specifications. The project includes specific requirements for accessories, finishes, and code compliance, as well as electrical work for ADA-compliant electronic door operators at Entrance "A". The Contractor is responsible for field verifying measurements and material quantities, submitting submittals of new materials, obtaining required permits, coordinating work scheduling, aligning and sealing doors, barricading work areas, repairing any damages, and removing all debris offsite. All doors must be compliant with applicable codes and properly aligned and sealed. Contractors must submit itemized bids and adhere to all relevant laws, ordinances, and contract terms. Work areas must remain secure and compliant throughout the project. Upon completion, doors must maintain required fire-resistance ratings and be properly labeled.
