Remodeling of a municipal facility in Sutton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a three-story above grade municipal facility.
The Braxton County Commission seeks bids from qualified vendors to install a complete, tested, and certified Cat6 structured cabling system at the Braxton County Courthouse & Annex. The project includes all labor, materials, and supervision for approximately 65 cable drops across the Courthouse (1st-3rd floors) and Annex (Basement-4th floors) to support VOIP communications. Work includes installing Cat6 cabling from central Equipment Rooms to all drops; securing, labeling, fire-stopping, and testing all cabling per ANSI/TIA/EIA, NEC/NFPA, and BICSI TDMM standards; removing unused cabling; supplying and installing rack-mount patch panels and patch cables; providing digital and hardcopy test results plus as-built electronic documentation; and performing most work during non-business hours. All materials and methods must meet ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 standards and applicable codes; preference given to BICSI-certified technicians under a BICSI RCDD. Sealed bids should be marked "Structured Network Cabling" and delivered to the Braxton County Commission. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
