Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 610 LF of 10" waterline, 9,520 LF of 8-inch waterline, 9,600 LF of 6-inch waterline, 460 LF of 1-inch service line, 640 LF of 3/4-inch service line, fire hydrants, valves, meters, water main reconnections, service line reconnections and other related appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Bids shall be submitted on the furnished Bid forms on a unit price basis using the two envelope system. Envelope #1 will contain the required bid documents. Envelope #2 will contain only the bid form and bid schedule. All bidders are required to comply with requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Affirmative Action, Minority Business Enterprises participation, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, West Virginia Division of Labor Wages for Construction of Public Improvements, and have a valid West Virginia contractor's license. Each bidder must submit security in the required amount and agree to the American Iron and Steel requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bid document fees are non-refundable. Positive efforts are required to subcontract with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as detailed in federal regulations. Question Deadline 11/24/2025 Contract Times: 210 calendar days to substantial completion and 240 calendar days to complete work ready for final payment. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
