The Town of Sutton is accepting statements of qualification from architectural and engineering consulting firms for professional services to upgrade and enhance the Town's community building. The scope of work includes necessary improvements to ensure full ADA accessibility and other related building upgrades. Professional services required include project design, preparation of permit applications, environmental reports, preparation of plans, specifications, and bidding documents, assistance during bidding, construction administration services, and construction inspection services. Proposals must include qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, related prior experience, and professional references. Five hard copies and one electronic copy of the proposal are required. The selection process will focus on technical expertise and related experience, with interviews for the most qualified candidates. The selected firm may be required to comply with applicable state and federal regulations and ensure efforts are made to utilize small businesses, including those in rural areas, minority-owned firms, and women-owned business enterprises.
