Sealed bids will be received for structural repairs at the Gadsden Museum of Art Project, Bid Request No. 3613, located in the City of Gadsden, Alabama. All bidders must be registered with the City of Gadsden Engineering Department to submit a bid. The bid must include either a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank, payable to the City of Gadsden, Alabama, or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized in Alabama, in an amount equal to the lesser of five percent of the bid or ten thousand dollars. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond as required by Section 39-1-1(a), Code of Alabama 1975, and evidence of insurance as required by the bid documents within ten days after contract award notification. Bidders must comply with all applicable Alabama state laws regarding licensing and public works, must not withdraw their bid within sixty days after the opening, and must certify compliance with federal immigration law and non-segregated facilities requirements. This is a tax-exempt contract. Question Deadline 10/24/2025 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the Specifications including the drawings. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the owner at the address shown in the Invitation for Bids.
