The 2025 HUD-CD Sanitary Sewer Lining Project includes the cast-in-place lining of 3,000 linear feet of the 8" sanitary sewer on Getty, Madison, Prescott and Grace Avenues, limits as depicted on the project plans. The project is paid for by federal CDBG funds. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap; and that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given lower income residents of the Passaic County and utilize businesses located in or owned by County residents. The benchmarks to be met are: Section 3 Workers: 25 percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 Project. Targeted Section 3 Workers (persons residing in subsidized housing): 5 percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 project. All bidders must submit documentary evident that outreach was made to Section 3, Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) to perform as subcontractors on the job.
