Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chillicothe, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) is conducting market research to identify small business concerns capable of constructing a chiller plant. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to determine the level of interest and capability within the small business community to justify a potential set-aside for this technically complex procurement. The VAACC seeks to assess whether there is sufficient competition among small businesses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing, and whether these businesses possess the financial and bonding capacity required to execute such a contract in accordance with FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and, if claiming SDVOSB or VOSB status, certified through the SBA's Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database. The applicable NAICS code is 238220, with a small business size standard of $19 million. Responses must include company contact information, SAM Unique Entity Identifier, proof or intent of registration, and details of any partnership arrangements. Submissions are due electronically by October 16, 2025, at 2:30 pm Eastern Time. No hard copy submissions will be accepted, and no additional information beyond what is provided in the notice will be given. Location: Chalmers P. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Cut-off date and time to submit Requests for Information (RFI ) is 08-20-2026 at 12:30 PM EST . RFIs shall be emailed to Stanley Burdine at stanley.burdine@va.gov. Perform all demolition and construction to provide domestic water system improvements, in accordance with project design documents. The improvements include dead-leg and unused fixture removal ; installation of thermostatic mixing valves at point-of-use for scald protection; re-balancing of existing hot water recirculation loops and addition of new recirculation loops ; installation of ultraviolet treatment equipment; installation of water monitoring equipment; connection and integration of water monitoring equipment and other water quality related instrumentation to the BAS; installation of a fiber optic backbone for the Building Automation System (BAS); demolition of abandoned equipment in Bldg. 256; relocation of the site domestic water storage tank valving and upgrade to tank instrumentation; and installation of new site water delivery equipment between municipality water meter through Bldg. 256 pump room. All work shall be completed within 840 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
