The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) is conducting market research to identify small business concerns capable of constructing a chiller plant. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to determine the level of interest and capability within the small business community to justify a potential set-aside for this technically complex procurement. The VAACC seeks to assess whether there is sufficient competition among small businesses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing, and whether these businesses possess the financial and bonding capacity required to execute such a contract in accordance with FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and, if claiming SDVOSB or VOSB status, certified through the SBA's Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database. The applicable NAICS code is 238220, with a small business size standard of $19 million. Responses must include company contact information, SAM Unique Entity Identifier, proof or intent of registration, and details of any partnership arrangements.
