Renovation of an educational facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for mechanical replacements at Winston Campus, Project No. 25096 (Bid Number 26-004). A Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the contract is required. A Bid Security of 10% of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates per Illinois law. A mandatory pre-bid meeting must be attended by all interested bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in the procedure, or accept the bid that best serves its interest. The owner may also set aside a bid from a contractor who does not demonstrate past experience equal to the size and scope of the project. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including wage, notice, and record-keeping requirements. Bidders are required to have a written sexual harassment policy in place, compliant with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Bidding documents will be available after October 20, 2025, from BHFX, LLC.
