Renovation of an educational facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The work consists of the replacement of the existing fiber optic cabling between existing Buildings A and E on the existing campus in Palatine, Illinois. Bidders must furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and material for the project. Lump sum bid proposals are required. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all alternate bid amounts must be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope and must comply with applicable Illinois law, including payment of prevailing wages, Equal Employment Opportunity laws, and statutory requirements regarding public works labor. There is a 30 percent aspirational goal under the Business Enterprise Program: Participation and Utilization Plan developed by Harper College. The College reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract in the manner best serving its interest.
