Dyer Street Elementary School Phase 1: Site-wide Non- DSA Roof Replacement The furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for Work of the PHASE 1- SITE-WIDE ROOF REPLACEMENT at DYER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL located at 14500 DYER ST., SYLMAR, CALIFORNIA 91342 PHASE 1- SITE-WIDE ROOF REPLACEMENT SUMMARY AT DYER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. 1. Contractor shall remove and or abate all existing roofing materials to substrate including but not limited to sleeper support caps, counter flashing, duct-curb flashing, conduit supports, gutter, downspout, scuppers, mechanical curb covers, pitch pockets including filler material, and coping. 2. Contractor shall install the following new components: 60 mil thermoplastic roof membrane composed of polyvinyl-chloride (PVC), mechanical curb caps, counter flashing, duct-curb flashing, electric conduit and gas pipe supports (dura-blocking), gutter, downspouts, vinyl-clad edge metal, and scuppers with escutcheon plate. 3. Installation and materials shall comply with approved details, LAUSD Specifications 07 5413 Mechanically Attached and 07 5419 Fully Adhered Polyvinyl-Chloride Roofing to applicable substrate, related LAUSD specifications sections and Manufactures installation guide. 4. Install polyiso crickets at all areas showing visible signs of ponding. Tapered insulation is to be installed below barrier board and attached in areas that pond water. 5. Secure HVAC units and platform covers per provided LAUSD detail drawing. 6. Repair or replace any stucco and painted wood members damaged during the replacement of existing roofing systems. 7.
