Bidders are required to submit their price(s) in the unit price and extension columns on the bid line items and provide answers to requested information listed after the bid line items. If there is a discrepancy between the unit price and the extension, the unit price shall prevail. Only responses submitted through the designated system will be accepted. Bidders must provide a complete detailed description for each item, including the manufacturer name and part number, even if the item matches exactly what is specified. Vendors quoting other than the specified manufacturer/brand or part number must submit and attach literature or specifications with the bid; failure to do so will make the bid non-responsive. Bids are subject to acceptance for a period of 90 days, or such lesser period as stated. Delivery shall not exceed 75 calendar days from receipt of order, and delivery will be accepted only between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except specified holidays. All prices quoted are to be firm for 90 days and are inclusive of tariffs, if applicable. Prices are to include all delivery charges unless otherwise stated. Bidders wishing to quote alternates or substitutes must supply a sample for testing and evaluation, with all required documentation and labels, by bid closing. Failure to comply with requirements for sample submission and labeling may result in rejection and deem the bid non-responsive. All shipping containers must be labeled with required information, and non-compliance may result in return of order at vendor's expense. Bidders are instructed to submit all questions through the designated Q&A section of the bid. Interpretation or clarification of the specifications will only be made by written addendum issued to all recipients of the specifications, and such addenda become a part of the contract. The department reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders claiming local business preference must submit the required eligibility questionnaire as part of the bid submittal to be considered for preference.
