Site work for a water / sewer project in Texarkana, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and all activities required for the design, manufacture, delivery, erection, painting, disinfection, and testing of a welded carbon steel 500,000-gallon elevated single-pedestal water storage tank, all as shown on the plans. Instructions to bidders: - Bids will be received at the specified office until the designated time and will be publicly opened and read aloud. - No bid shall be submitted by facsimile machine or similar equipment. - Information and Bidding Documents for the project can be obtained from Spears Engineering Company; bidders are urged to register as a plan holder to receive updates and addenda. - Bound copies of the bidding documents are available for purchase; no deposit will be refunded. - The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. - Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 60 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. - All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law. - Contractors must refer to Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors; resident and non-resident bidders should refer to relevant legislative acts. - The owner encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids and encourages consideration of these groups in subcontracting.
