Site work for a development in Littleton, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.
The City is requesting proposals from consultants to develop a Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment that will serve as a strategic framework to enhance resilience, develop adaptation plans, center environmental equity, and integrate sustainability goals into City operations and community planning. General requirements include insurance and local service requirements. The award will be made on an all or none basis. Bid submissions are to be conducted electronically. SCOPE OF WORK A. BACKGROUND: The City is requesting proposals from consultants to develop a Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment ("CRVA"). Littleton is a home-rule municipality with a population of approximately 45,000, located in the south Denver metropolitan area. The City has a rich history dating back to its incorporation in 1890 and is characterized by a vibrant downtown, diverse housing stock, and a strong sense of community. Littleton spans three counties--Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Douglas--and is a member of the Denver Regional Council of Governments ("DRCOG"), ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, Drive Clean Colorado, and Colorado Communities for Climate Action ("CC4CA"). Question Deadline 10/17/2025 at 12:00 PM MT The City has completed a community-wide and local government operations greenhouse gas ("GHG") inventory, and this assessment will serve as a strategic framework to enhance resilience, develop adaptation plans, center environmental equity, and integrate sustainability goals into City operations and community planning. Littleton is prioritizing a CRVA to ensure resilience is integrated city-wide and to ensure the incorporation of community-based organizations ("CBOs"), nonprofits, and private partners. A comprehensive vision will help the community prepare for the future and set the City on a path to identify opportunities and challenges, and to address them efficiently and effectively. Additionally, some key resources for data and climate mapping can be referenced here: o Neighborhoods at Risk o Fifth National Climate Assessment o The Climate Explorer o Climate Mapping for Resilience & Adaptation o Future Avoided Cost Explorer: Colorado Hazards The City will not be disclosing the budget for this scope of work. Proposers with a local presence will receive preference
