BACKGROUND: The City is requesting proposals from consultants to develop a Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment ("CRVA"). Littleton is a home-rule municipality with a population of approximately 45,000, located in the south Denver metropolitan area. The City has a rich history dating back to its incorporation in 1890 and is characterized by a vibrant downtown, diverse housing stock, and a strong sense of community. Littleton spans three counties--Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Douglas--and is a member of the Denver Regional Council of Governments ("DRCOG"), ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, Drive Clean Colorado, and Colorado Communities for Climate Action ("CC4CA"). Littleton is prioritizing a CRVA to ensure resilience is integrated city-wide and to ensure the incorporation of community-based organizations ("CBOs"), nonprofits, and private partners.
