Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. McKinley Avenue Reconstruction from SW 9th Street to SW 14th Street The improvement includes reconstructing McKinley Avenue with Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) roadway paving, PCC sidewalks, PCC driveways, PCC multi-use trail, storm sewer, storm sewer intakes and manholes, subdrain, clearing and grubbing, earthwork and grading, traffic signals, pavement markings, signage, erosion control, and restoration, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No.675-095/310, located along McKinley Avenue from SW 9th Street to SW 14th Street, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than July 2, 2027 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions.
