**As of January 06, 2026, project was awarded, start date will be determined at the pre-construction meeting on 1/16/26** The project requires the replacement of malfunctioning valves and the installation of a new valve and fire hydrant, complete in place, on Moylan Drive at the intersection of Route 450 (Annapolis Road), Bowie, Maryland. The work includes furnishing and installing 12-inch, 8-inch, and 6-inch MJ valves and roadway box assemblies, 12-inch and 8-inch CL 54 ductile iron pipes, fire hydrant assemblies, fire hydrant leads, and hot mix asphalt for temporary trench repair. Contingent tasks include test pits in paved and non-paved areas, gravel backfill below subgrade, silt fence, inlet protection, borrow trench backfill, temporary asphalt to replace cold patch, and bracing and securing utility poles. Instructions to bidders specify that bids will only be accepted electronically, and bidders should review the solicitation documents for line items and requirements.
