Site work and paving for a road / highway in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of Houston Street Improvements from 23rd Street to Old Highway 51. The project includes approximately 500 L.F. of full-depth asphalt pavement widening and approximately 2,050 L.F. of full-depth asphalt pavement reconstruction of Houston Street, expanding the roadway from two lanes to five lanes. It also includes the construction of approximately 2,750 L.F. of 12", 8", and 6" PVC water line, 5,200 L.F. of 5' wide concrete sidewalk, 4,900 L.F. of 6 curb and gutter, 3,900 L.F. of enclosed storm sewer, and traffic signal modifications. Total contract time for the project shall be 330 calendar days. Bids must be submitted electronically via QuestCDN.com along with all required affidavits and Proposal Guarantees. Only bids submitted through QuestCDN by 1:45 p.m. on the date of the bid opening will be considered. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. Within ten days after receiving notice of award, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond, and Maintenance Bond in amounts equal to the Contract price. Bidders must comply with all Equal Opportunity in Employment requirements. The apparent successful bidder must, within two days after bid opening, submit to the City/BAMA a list of subcontractors, suppliers, individuals or entities proposed for asphalt, storm sewer, waterline, concrete, and traffic signal work, each accompanied by a Statement of Qualifications and Experience.
