The project involves the 2025 Road Resurfacing Project for the Incorporated Village of Freeport, Nassau County, New York. Unclassified Excavation, Change Elevation ofSanitary Sewer , Manholes (Minor Adj.), Change Elevation of Drainage, Manholes (Minor Adj.), Adjust Water Main Valve Boxes, Cement Concrete Pavement, Cement Concrete Curb, Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter, Cement Concrete Sidewalk, Detectable Warning Surface, Cement Concrete Driveways and Driveway Aprons, Asphalt Paving (Truing and Leveling), Sawcutting Existing Concrete Pavement, Sawcutting Existing Asphalt Pavement, Asphalt Paving Overlay 1/2", Dense Graded Aggregate Base Sealed proposals are to be received for road resurfacing by the Purchasing Department. Specifications, proposal documents, and proposed contracts can be reviewed and obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, or via the Village's website. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals and will award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder, rejecting bids deemed unbalanced. Bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the opening date. The Contractor must perform and complete all work included in this contract on or before May 30, 2026 Q/A:- If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed project is in doubt as to the true meaning ofany part ofthe specifications, he may promptly submit to the Superintendent ofPublic Works a written request for an interpretation thereof. The Superintendent ofPublic Works shall furnish the prospective bidder with a written response directly, prior to the deadline for submitting the bid.
