The Iron County Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for a Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract to conduct repairs and improvements to offices, hallways, and storage rooms located on the third floor of the courthouse at 250 South Main Street, Ironton, MO. The planned work pertains exclusively to the 1964 addition to the historic 1857 courthouse. Complete Scope of Improvement needs are available by contacting the County Clerk or County Commission. Project Schedule: All work is required to be completed by January 15, 2026. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Scope of Improvements: Remove the non-functioning water radiator heater and associated plumbing lines. Replace existing light fixtures with LED lighting in all offices, hallways, and restroom. Install dimmer switches for lighting control in the main office of the Prosecuting Attorney. Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and trim; install vinyl baseboard and two soundproof doors in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Install new vinyl flooring over the existing tile in offices and hallway. Replace six windows with energy-efficient vinyl units. Replace carpet in elevator and upgrade the lighting fixture.
