Texas A&M University is seeking to establish agreements with a pool of Vendors for the provision of Dredging Services to be performed on the Texas A&M campus in Galveston, TX. Bidders must agree to the terms and conditions included in the AggieBid portal and Texas A&M University terms and conditions. All details and specifications are provided as an attachment in the AggieBid portal. Vendors are required to register in the AggieBid portal to submit bids electronically and view opportunities. Alternate response methods include email, express mail, US Postal Service, or hand delivery. All non-electronic submissions must be on Texas A&Ms form, and a W9 must be included if responding manually. All respondents must return a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) with their proposal. Failure to submit a complete HSP will result in proposal disqualification. Payment terms are 100% Net 30 upon receipt, installation, and acceptance of goods and/or services. Vendors must provide pricing information for renewal periods, a sample Certificate of Insurance as per the detailed specifications, and a listing of references. Detailed line items include mobilization fees, de-mobilization fees, dredging per cubic yard, and any applicable additional charges. The respondent shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the following: Pre-Dredging Activities Site survey and bathymetric analysis. Mobilization of equipment and personnel. Pre-Dredging Activities-Add Alternates* Environmental impact assessment Permits in place, especially ensuring FEMA requirements are met for post-storm dredging operations Dredging Operations Mechanical or hydraulic dredging of designated areas. Monitoring of dredging depth and sediment removal. Daily reporting of progress and sediment volumes. Material Handling and Disposal Transport of dredged material to approved disposal site.
