Base Bid: The removal of the City Plant access hatches/covers, take and record the runner blade and wicket gate measurements, adjust and repair wicket gates as needed, coat wicket gates with two part coal tar epoxy, isolate governor, remove, dispose of and refill hydraulic oil from runner and governor, machine/grind the collector ring, remove and rebuild the oil head, remove dispose of and refill the bearing lube oil, remove the top half of the discharge ring, disconnect the oil piping, remove runner hub, disassembly of runner and runner hub, shop inspection and report of runner and runner hub, media blast and recoat runner hub components, rebuild/reassembly of the runner hub with new bushings, seals, wear parts and other parts needed to shop test runner hub, reinstall the pressure tested and functioning runner hub, reconnect oil piping, refill oil with contractor supplied oil ( governor and lube), reassemble top half of discharge ring, take and record as installed runner blade measurements, reinstall access hatches/covers, reinstall all removed parts, paint all welded parts, clean oil, grease, and debris in all work areas used by contractor and provide support during the startup and commissioning of the unit. The bid will include all equipment, materials and labor to complete the project. The bid will include a price for the work and schedule to complete the work.
