Peach County is seeking an engineering firm to provide design and construction supervision for a stormwater and drainage improvement project, to be funded primarily through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program if awarded. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing comprehensive engineering plans and cost estimates, final design, plans and specifications, securing permits and clearances, preparation of bid and contract documents, post-award services including certifications and review of specifications, warranties, operation manuals, as-built drawings, supervision and administration of construction, review of payment requests and change orders, periodic construction review, construction close-out, final inspection, and project certification. All activities must comply with federal and state regulations applicable to CDBG funds. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed proposals, including an electronic copy, with specific information on firm experience, prior experience with Peach County, firm personnel, cost schedules, proposed implementation plan, and required contract documentation. The proposal must be submitted by the specified deadline and in adherence with the detailed requirements outlined in the request.
