Conservation Building Roof Repairs and Replacement Rice County is requesting proposals as it relates to the Conservation Building located at the Rice County Fairgrounds, 1900 Fairgrounds Dr, Faribault, MN 55021. The Conservation Building project will be done in two parts with a separate Request for Proposal for each part. Roof repairs and roof replacement of Conservation Building structure located at the Fairgrounds, 1900 Fairgrounds Dr, Faribault, MN 55021 Furnish and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, permit and miscellaneous requirements to repair and replace the roof of the Conservation Building. Anything not expressly set forth, but which is reasonably implied or necessary for the completion and proper performance of the project shall be included. All work shall comply with applicable provisions of the building code. Rice County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in the procedure, and to accept the proposal deemed in the best interests of Rice County. A Purchase Order will be presented for the proposal that meets all the requirements and is deemed best by Rice County. Contractors are expected to raise any questions, exceptions, or additions they have concerning this RFP document before Thursday, October 16, 4:00pm. Questions submitted after the due date will not be reviewed and answered. Arrowhead Engineering performed a visual structural inspection to access the structural integrity of the structure and the overall framing. On Tuesday May 27, 2025, Arrowhead Engineering, LLC, provided a Structural Assessment Letter regarding the Conservation (DNR) building located at the Rice County Fairgrounds.
