As per the Owner the project has been Cancelled. Structure grade beams/scour walls and box culvert shall be delivered no later than May 9th, 2026. VDOT reserves the right to accept an earlier delivery date if mutually agreed upon in writing by VDOT and the fabricator/vendor. In the event VDOT is unable to accommodate delivery of the structure on the stated delivery date due to unforeseen circumstances such as delays in site preparation or weather conditions, the precast units and railing components shall remain at the fabricator/vendor location until such time as VDOT can accept delivery and expedite work. The fabricator/vendor shall have the capability to store the structure and components for up to thirty (30) calendar days from the stated delivery date. If delivery of structure is delayed due to site not prepared or weather conditions, the VDOT Contract Administrator or their designee will notify the fabricator/vendor when VDOT can accept delivery and the details of the delivery date will be mutually agreed upon at that time. The revised delivery date/time must be in writing and agreed upon by both VDOT and the fabricator/vendor. Delivery of all structure components is preferred over 2 consecutive days at scheduled intervals, but four (4) consecutive days will be acceptable only if necessary and agreed to by VDOT. Scheduled intervals of trucks shall be coordinated through VDOT. Design and fabrication of two (2) precast concrete Single box culverts (9 x 7 x 38) to be laid side by side as with two (2) End Sections, VA Structure #087-6200, Route 716 Odem Chapel Road, Southampton County, VA. The box culverts shall be bid and invoiced by the linear foot. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Kevin Deemer at Kevin.Deemer@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 3:00 PM EDT on October 15, 2025.
