Site work for a water / sewer project in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of 12-inch, 16-inch, and 24-inch ductile iron water mains and installation of 10-inch and 12-inch sewer mains within the downtown area bounded by State Routes 41, 180, and 99. Project bid alternate work provides the potential for installation of additional 8-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch ductile iron water mains, as well as fire hydrants, water service transfers, and 30-inch and 36-inch cured-in-place sewer main rehabilitation, 10-inch cured-in-place pipe liner with vinyl ester resin, and all pertinent street furniture. Bidders must have a valid Class "A", or both a Class "C34" and Class "C36" contractor's license issued by the State of California. A bid bond of 10%, payment bond of 100%, and performance bond of 100% are required. Liquidated damages are $1500 per day for each calendar day. Project duration is 200 working days from the notice to proceed. Bids must be valid for 64 days from the date bids are opened. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not mandatory. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
