Site work for a residential development in Oberlin, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade residential development.
Sealed bids are invited for Contract 2025-01 Green Acres Subdivision Improvement Project. Specifications, plans, and bidding documents are available for a nonrefundable fee of $35.00, payable to the City of Oberlin. Bids must be signed, submitted on forms bound in the contract documents, and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid price, issued by a surety company licensed in Ohio. A preliminary construction schedule showing the work breakdown, milestones, phasing for continued water services, and estimated outage durations is required with each bid and may factor into the determination of the lowest and best bid. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as set by the Ohio Department of Commerce. All questions about the contract documents must be directed to the City Engineer, and only written Addenda are binding. The City of Oberlin reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best bid, reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and enter into a contract that best suits the City's needs.
