As of October 22, 2025, the owner has selected a pre-qualified contractor. The Village and/or Oswego Township will authorize all or a portion of the total over the duration of the contract based upon need and available funding. Approximately once each month, or as needed, the Village and/or Oswego Township will provide a list of tree removal locations needing removal. The list will provide the street name, address, and diameter of the parkway tree to be removed. This list will be provided on an as need basis at the discretion of the Village and/or Oswego Township. Trees shall be removed within 30 days of notification. These Detailed Specifications are for the removal of specified park and parkway trees within the Village of Oswego and/or Oswego Township. The contract and work shall be carried out in conformance with the Ordinances of the Village and these detailed specifications in effect on the date of invitation for bids. The bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The bidder shall be responsible for the cleaning up of the job site and shall repair or restore all lawns, structures, and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work to the satisfaction of the Village and/or Oswego Township. The contract period will be through the end of the third fiscal year, which is December 31, 2028. The Village reserves the right to extend this contract for two additional, one-year terms through December 31, 2030.
