Question Deadline 01/09/2026 Submit requests for interpretation of the documents in writing to the Engineer. Inquiries received five or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of the Bids will be given consideration. Sealed bids are invited for the HUNT CLUB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL A.D.A. SIDEWALK project for Oswego Community Unit School District 308. Lump Sum bid proposals are required. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to "Oswego Community Unit School District 308." A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, acceptable to the Owner, are required from the successful bidder. Bids must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope clearly marked as SEALED BID and addressed to the specified recipient. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the bid opening without the Owner's consent. All bidders must satisfactorily complete the qualification process described in Section 004113 Bid Form and Section 004395-General Requirements of the Project Manual by providing the required Qualification Documents with their sealed bid. The Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof or waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding. Bidding documents consist of drawings, project manual, and all addenda issued prior to bids and must be obtained electronically or at the bidder's expense from the specified reprographics company or website.
