Site work, paving, remodeling and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Oswego, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; 500-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and 1,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

The work consists of an elevator and stair addition and lower level remodeling at the Oswegoland Senior & Community Center. The project includes an additional 1,000 square feet with a split-level metal pan stair, a 3,500 lb. TKE Elevator, RTU, CMU bearing walls, aluminum Longboard siding, and an EPDM roof. The upper level involves remodeling a 500 square foot reception area, and the lower level includes 5,000 square feet of interior remodeling with typical finishes. Alternate #1 consists of rebuilding and repaving an area north of the building, with two structural 30-foot retaining walls, concrete stairs, raised curbing, gravel fill, and blacktop paving. All work must comply with the specifications in the contract documents, applicable state and local regulations, codes, and OSHA and EPA requirements. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting, submit a completed set of bidding documents with a 5% bid bond, and provide a definitive Gantt chart schedule with their bid. The project is a prevailing wage project, and a 110% performance bond is required within five days of award. The owner will accept the lowest responsible bid but reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
