A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** North County Transit District (NCTD) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish, replace existing, or install new bus stop furniture, including metal benches and trash receptacles, throughout north San Diego County on an as-needed basis, and to perform an initial replacement of ninety-three (93) furniture units at the Oceanside Transit Center in the city of Oceanside. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing metal benches and trash receptacles, repair of ground surface, and furnishing and installation of new metal benches and trash receptacles. The project will procure the necessary materials, equipment, and labor needed to perform these tasks as indicated in the scope of work. Pre-bid conference-For organizers: Meeting options | Reset dial-in PIN The project site includes all bus stops within North San Diego County, including the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Escondido, Oceanside, Poway, San Marcos, Solana Beach, and Vista, all unincorporated areas, and locations under Caltrans jurisdiction. The initial replacement of ninety-three (93) furniture units will be performed at Oceanside Transit Center (OTC), located at 195 S. Tremont Street, Oceanside, CA 92054, and the work limits include platforms 1 and 2, SPRINTER platform, and the Bus Island. The contractor shall perform site investigations to verify existing conditions and determine the specific requirements for bench and trash receptacles installation. Temporary coverings, delineators, caution tape, and other protective measures shall be provided to ensure the safety of personnel and the public. Contractor shall coordinate and schedule site investigations with NCTD's Project Manager. Any site investigations and construction work shall be scheduled at least seven (7) calendar days in advance. Site investigations and construction work shall be scheduled within normal business hours, Monday -Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
