Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Stevens, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Lake Stevens Sewer District is requesting bids for services for the demolition and removal of the existing concrete meter vault and wet well structures, demolition of all concrete pads, the removal of 20 plus trees, one of which is to remain, the removal of an existing retaining wall (less than 2.5 feet), removal of the existing chain-link fence, and site restoration by means of import fill. The District wishes to start the project immediately after the award and to have all work completed within the time specified in the contract documents. Technical Specifications shall follow the latest edition of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI). General and Contractual Conditions shall follow the latest edition of the WSDOT Standard Specifications. Bidding is by invitation only for small public works projects. A performance and payment bond and insurance will be required. A bid bond is not required. To bid the project, fill out and sign the proposal and return it electronically through MRSC Bonfire by 10:30 AM on the specified due date. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the time the bids are due. Bid award will be made at the regular Board of Commissioners meeting.
