Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Stevens, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

The work generally consists of the following elements: Roadway Improvements: Widen existing roadway to the west to accommodate curb and gutter, seven-foot wide bioretention swale, and eight-foot wide multi-use sidewalk. Storm/Drainage: Install 122 linear feet of 12-inch PVC storm main, and 2,050 square yards of bioretention swale for water quality. Sanitary Sewer Main Extension: Install approximately 1,110 linear feet of 10-inch PVC sewer main by open cut trenching along with new manholes and side sewer connections in 131st Avenue NE extending from 20th Street NE to Hartford Drive. Bidders shall submit one original of the bid proposal in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder's name, address, request for bid number 23006 and title 131st Ave NE Infrastructure Improvements. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Lake Stevens in an amount not less than five percent of the bid amount. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid proposal deposit. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw a bid after the opening or before award unless the award is delayed for sixty days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. Additional instructions include registration requirements for Bidders who wish to be notified of addenda, and nondiscrimination requirements in accordance with federal and state law.
